What is Financial Planning?

Why Hire a Financial Planner?

Why Hire a Financial Planner?

Financial planning is about more than preparing for retirement. It's about working towards short and long-term goals and helping plan for the most important things In life.

A strong plan is developed in collaboration with a financial planner and includes a balance of products that is flexible enough to meet changing needs across a client's personal and professional life.

The first step to achieving a strong financial plan is creating an effective strategy that will help:

  • Prepare for retirement well-being.
  • Minimize current taxes.
  • Proactively manage and control debt.
  • Help prepare for a child's college education.
  • Provide loved ones or heirs in the event of death, disability or critical illness.
  • Protect businesses and their employees.

Why Hire a Financial Planner?

Why Hire a Financial Planner?

Why Hire a Financial Planner?

Are you ready to confidently take charge of your own financial affairs?

Are you tired of money managers not speaking to you in a language that you understand?

Have you dealt with your spouse's advisor who does not bring you into the process?

Financial planning is not an event, it is a process that starts with you discovering where you are and where you want to be.

Your goals and values are the foundation on which your personal financial plan is built. All the work that we do will always reflect what is important to you...not someone else.

You and I can work together exploring options and show you opportunities and possibilities that you may not have thought of. We will build a list of actionable items that are designed to keep you on the path to success. We will then implement and monitor your plan so that we are able to make changes as life happens.

Our Process

  1. Introductory Phone Call: Before entering a formal engagement, we can meet for 30 minutes in person or virtually to learn more about each other. On that call I can share some information about my process to see if we are a good fit.
  2. Complimentary Financial Assessment: If we both decide to move forward, I will ask you to fill out a profile to get a clearer picture of your current financial situation.
  3. There is no hurry to decide as I am hoping to forge a long-term relationship, not a transactional relationship.
  4. Once you have decided that you would like to proceed, I will put together an agreement for us to sign.
  5. At this point I will ask you to fill out a questionnaire and to start gathering pertinent documents to see what your current financial situation is and to assess your balance sheet as well as your cash flow.
  6. At our strategy meeting we will review recommendations and put together an action plan based on your priorities and goals
  7. At this point we can Implement the plan that we have come up with and make any changes that are needed.
  8. Once the plan is implemented, we can meet every quarter to review your accomplishments and make any adjustments. I am available by phone, email and zoom for questions or changes to your circumstances.
